September 17
De Pere Ice Arena
Time: 10:00am – 3:00pm

What is the Voyageur Open House?

This is a one stop shop for information about many of the season's obligations, a chance to reconnect with your hockey friends, and definitely a good time! Our goal is to create an opportunity to answer questions, offer information and alleviate much of the stress that goes along with the start of the hockey season.

Highlights Include:

  • Pick up Street Hockey Games - These will be casual games, just for fun, in the parking lot. Everyone, parents and skaters, is welcome to participate!
  • Apparel Samples - get a sneak peek at the new looks for 2016 to outfit your entire hockey family.
  • Bauer Suit Samples and Orders - we will have samples of Bauer jackets and pants so you can make sure to order the correct size, and we will be taking orders for Bauer Apparel.
  • Hockey Gear Swap/Rummage Sale - take advantage of this opportunity to sell your old equipment, and pick up some new stuff! Retired Voyageur jerseys will be available for purchase.
  • Puck Challenge Rewards - everyone who successfully completed the summer puck challenge can collect their rewards.  We will also crown our puckmaster!
  • Fundraising Information - learn more about the new fundraising initiatives for the 2016 season. Jami, our new fundraising coordinator, promises to put the FUN in FUNdraising!
  • Concussion and Injury Information - we hope to have a rep from Aurora Sports Medicine Center on hand to answer your concussion and injury related questions
  • Volunteering and Coaching - want to get involved, but not sure where to start? We can answer your questions about volunteering and coaching involvement.

Summer Puck Challenge

De Pere Youth Hockey challenges you to see how many shots you can take this summer! This year we have two levels of challenge: the 5000 puck challenge and the 10,000 shot puckmaster. Everyone who successfully completes the challenge will receive a t-shirt. We will also have a special prize for the skater who takes the most shots over the course of the challenge. You don't have to pick a level ahead of time-- just do your best and take as many shots as you can!

Attached you will find the tracking sheet to keep track of your shots all summer. The challenge runs for eleven weeks, from 6/12 through 8/27, and only shots during this time period should be counted. At the conclusion of the challenge, your parents should verify your shots and email the total to Carissa Nusbaum at Directions are included on the tracking sheet.

Click HERE and register today.  Then print off the tracking sheet and you're ready to go!  T-shirts and prizes will be awarded in fall.

Please direct any questions or comments to Carissa Nusbaum at

Wouldn't it be great to get instant updates on your phone with changes to game times or practice times?  Steps to link your team’s calendar(s) to your e-mail account are noted on the Calendar page.

Additional volunteer opportunities are listed on the Dibs page.
