De Pere Youth Hockey is proud to offer programs for youth skaters ages 4 - 18. The De Pere Youth Hockey Association serves the school districts of East De Pere, West De Pere, Denmark, Wrightstown, as well as the Village of Allouez and  the Village of Bellevue. Started in 1972, our program aims to develop the skills, sportsmanship and leadership that allows players to reach their full potential.

Board Meeting Schedule Update

Notice:  The November and December board meetings have been rescheduled. 

The dates have changed to the first Monday of the month.  The new dates are Monday, November 3rd and Monday, December 1st.  The meetings will be held at the De Pere Ice Arena and begin at 6:00pm.

De Pere Youth Hockey "Voyageurs" invite boys and girls ages 4-9 to a “Try Hockey for Free” clinic where they can experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment. 

Date:  November 8, 2014

Location:  De Pere Ice Center

               1450 Fort Howard Ave., De Pere

Event registration: 11:30am – 12:00pm

       (Please allow time for equipment fitting)

Ice Time:  12:00 – 1:00pm

Equipment:  Equipment and skates will be provided

Register Early… The first 40 children to register will receive a FREE hockey jersey and stick.


The 2014-2015 season for HIP players will begin on Sunday, November 9th and will continue weekly through the end of February.  Sessions will be held from 1:30 - 2:30pm. 


The 2014-2015 season for Mite players will begin on Saturday, October 4th and will continue holding sessions on Saturdays during the month of October.  The Saturday sessions will be held from 12:00-1:00pm.

Regular season practices will begin the first week of November.  The schedule and times have been posted on our website.  Please reference the Calendar and verify the tags for the Mite teams are selected.



Tryouts will occur the week of October 20th through Friday, October 24th.

UPDATE:  A recent schedule change has allowed ice time to become available for us to complete our tryout process during the week of October 20th - 24th.

Team Practices Begin

Team practices are planned to begin the first week of November with games to begin mid-November.  This time frame will provide teams time to practice together several times before their first scheduled game.  Season practice times have been scheduled.  The schedule and times have been posted on our website.  Please reference the calendar and verify the tag for the skater's team is selected.

Christmas break

There will be no hockey scheduled between December 24th and January 4th. 

Pond Hockey will again be available on December 27th, 29th, 31st and January 2nd.   Specific times for the pond hockey sessions will be posted as soon as they are scheduled.

The Zebra Cup

The Zebra Cup is scheduled for October 25th and 26th. What is the Zebra Cup? 
A zebra cup is a tournament designed to develop our new referees.  It is real life training during their clinic prior to the season starting.  If teams are assembled to participate, the teams formed have no relevance to do with tryouts or where a player falls in the tryout process.

Any registration postmarked after July 15th, will be accessed a $50 late fee.

Reminder:  When mailing your registration to DPYH, please be sure to include your USA Hockey confirmation page that displays the skater’s barcode.  Refer to the attached image:
