Invitation for Open Forum

Message From Our DPYH President:

Hello Voyageurs,

Over the past several weeks, there has been a lot of discussion around the future of youth hockey in Brown County.  As I am sure you have heard, there are many opinions and perspectives on this topic – there certainly has been no shortage of many side discussions at the rinks!!

The group of coaches and hockey personnel driving the efforts and discussion would like to take the opportunity to share their vision with the hockey community in NE Wisconsin and provide perspective and answers on the work they have done.  Attached you will find an invite with the date, location, and a little more detail on the Open Forum and discussion.

I strongly encourage you to make every effort to attend the Open Forum – please bring your ideas and questions to this session.

Many thanks!  As always, please feel free to connect directly with me to discuss any questions you may have.

- Kurt Koszarek

Skeeter Hockey Day

Squirt A's invited the Wisconsin Skeeter hockey team come and show us the sport of sled hockey.

This is a wonderful program that allows kids with disabilities to play ice hockey with the use of sleds.  The boys had a great time and quickly learned it was not easy.  Thank You to the Skeeters for their time and hard work today!!

Fox 11 was present to capture the event and had a segment on Fox 11 Sports Edge.  If you missed it, you can use this link to view it:

    Dasher Board Sales

De Pere Youth Hockey Association has a huge opportunity to work with Cornerstone Ice Management by selling dasher boards for the De Pere

Ice Arena.   This is a wonderful opportunity for reasonable advertising and a portion of the sale benefits De Pere Youth Hockey.  An estimated average of 100,000 people visit the rink each year.  In addition, the De Pere Ice Arena will be utilized for the Spring Nationals event this year drawing even more to the rink.

If you own your own business, know someone who owns their own business or believe your employer would want to take advantage of this opportunity, please complete and submit the attached form to Carmen Carter @ thecuttinggarden@att.net or call with any questions to 920- 609-7272.

Wouldn't it be great to get instant updates on your phone with changes to game times or practice times?  Steps to link your team’s calendar(s) to your e-mail account are noted on the Calendar page.
