How well do you think your shot would improve if you were to take 5000 shots over a 10-week period?
Think it can’t be done, think again. Shooting one hundred pucks a day, five days a week for ten weeks will meet the challenge and help you develop your shooting & scoring skills at home. All skaters who meet the challenge will receive a t-shirt to recognize their accomplishment!!
It is open to all DPYHA players, and will run from June 22nd to August 30th.
To register for the challenge email Carissa Nusbaum at email@example.com by Sunday, June 28th. Please include the skater's name, level for 2015-16, and t-shirt size in the email. To track your progress, print the tracking sheet below and record your daily shots. At the end of the challenge, a parent and the skater should sign the tracking form and mail it to Carissa Nusbaum at 2124 Pigeon Ct, De Pere, WI, 54115.

De Pere Youth Hockey Association has a huge opportunity to work with Cornerstone Ice Management by selling dasher boards for the De Pere
Ice Arena. This is a wonderful opportunity for reasonable advertising and a portion of the sale benefits De Pere Youth Hockey. An estimated average of 100,000 people visit the rink each year. In addition, the De Pere Ice Arena will be utilized for the Spring Nationals event this year drawing even more to the rink.
If you own your own business, know someone who owns their own business or believe your employer would want to take advantage of this opportunity, please complete and submit the attached form to Carmen Carter @ email@example.com or call with any questions to 920- 609-7272.
On March 11, an open forum was held to discuss a vision several area hockey leaders/coaches have for the future of youth hockey in Brown County. The group has been evaluating the changing hockey landscape and exploring if our area would be better served with a single youth hockey association.
Attached below are two documents relative to the open forum meeting. The first is the agenda, a series of questions formulated related to merge and the voting ballot presented to all attendees. The second is a brief summary of the discussion that occurred at the meeting and the results of the unofficial vote taken. The purpose of the vote was to determine whether or not members were in favor of continuing discussion on a possible merger between the two Associations and why.
While the vote was unofficial we feel there is ample support to pursue continued discussion on the details (by-law changes, WAHA requirements, team sizes, fee structure, etc.). An official vote to determine support of these discussions will be taken from DPYHA Membership during the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 31th at 6:00 pm. This meeting is open to all members of DPYHA and will be held at the De Pere High School Auditorium, 1700 Chicago Street.
Wouldn't it be great to get instant updates on your phone with changes to game times or practice times? Steps to link your team’s calendar(s) to your e-mail account are noted on the Calendar page.
